About Us
Welcome to YBR Magazine
Hi, I’m Muhammad Ubaid, and I run YBR Magazine — a site dedicated to helping people plan trips to America’s National Parks with clear, accurate, and up-to-date information.

Why I Started This Site
Planning a national park trip sounds simple until you actually start researching. Entry fees vary by park and sometimes by season. Some parks require timed-entry permits that sell out weeks in advance. Trail conditions change. The “best time to visit” isn’t the same for every park — Yellowstone in July is packed, while Zion’s shoulder season might be the sweet spot.
I noticed that a lot of the information available online was either outdated, too generic, or missing the practical details people actually need before booking a trip. Some guides read like they were written without anyone checking the current fee schedule or permit requirements. That’s the gap I wanted to fill.
What You’ll Find Here
Every guide on YBR Magazine is built around the questions real visitors ask before a trip:
- How much does it cost to enter, and are there any additional permit fees?
- When is the best time to visit, based on weather, crowds, and trail accessibility?
- What do I need to book in advance — camping spots, shuttle passes, timed entries?
- What should I pack, and what should I know before I go?
I organize content into three main areas: individual Park Guides, general Planning & Tips articles, and detailed Costs & Permits breakdowns, so you can find exactly what you need without digging through unrelated content.
How I Research
I’m not claiming to have personally visited every park listed on this site — that would take years. What I do instead is rely on official sources, primarily the National Park Service website (nps.gov), along with recent visitor reports and updated fee schedules. When information changes — and with national parks, it often does — I go back and update the relevant article rather than leaving outdated numbers up.
If you ever notice something on this site that doesn’t match current official information, I genuinely want to know. Details like entry fees and permit rules shift, and keeping this site accurate matters more to me than keeping old content untouched.
My Goal
I want YBR Magazine to be the kind of resource I would’ve wanted when I was first trying to plan a park trip — something that gets straight to the point, tells you what you actually need to know, and doesn’t waste your time with filler.
If a guide on this site helped you plan your trip a little more easily, that’s exactly why I built this.
